How to registrate you ?
click on the link "registration". Choose a nickname which wasn't taken yet by a player,
this one will be specific for you and thus you will be called with this nickname, therefore
take a good nickname. Take a password not too difficult to keep in memory. Register your e-mail,
beware to choose a valid email, because it's with it that the possible opponents or the webmasters
will be able to contact you.
The others are optional: Those among you who know forums will know what is an avatar. For the others,
an avatar is a picture which will be associated to your nickname, this picture with the format .jpg or .gif
must be located on an Internet site (that isn't used for nothing to write the link towards a picture on
your hard disk, that won't function) and must have a format of 50 pixels out of 50
(to know some more, click here).
It can also be interesting to register your availabilities.

I'm registrated, what can I do ?
To play ;-) Once registrated, you can take part of the league AC.

I don't want to play any more ? What can I do ?
You must contact me (darkcatt@archangelcastle.com). I will put your account inactive.
4.
What obligations once registered ?
You must play at least 1 game every month. If you didn't play any game, you will be eliminated
from the list of the players, if you played at least 1 game, you will pass in the list of inactive players.
As for the H3 league, avoid too often playing with the same opponent. There are several
active players ! Avoid playing with the same player more than 2 times in the same day and more than 5 times
in the same week.

What are the rules ?
- To play your games in Expert level, except if the map
does specify another level.
- No limit of obligatory time, but to limit the abuses, it's advised to put a limit at 4-6 minutes by turn
- All the games are played obligatory in Equilibris 3.51 (downloadable here).
- Any form of cheating is prohibited (cheat codes, trainers and others…).

I'm obliged to play in league ?
Not in the beginning ! Ask to your opponent if you can play one or two games apart of the league before
to launch you really. Beware not to misused on the number of games not reported.

Where to find an opponent ?
Go on the forum to present you and ask a game. You can also go on the chatroom #archangelcastle on
any EpiKnet server. But the best means is to send an email.

End of game : and now ?
Now that your game is finished, you must defer it, so that the result is taken into account. Click on "Reporter Victoire"
(to defer victory) or "reporter défaite" (to defer a defeat) and fill the form. Beware at the date!!!
This one being recorded in a base MySQL, it should absolutely be put to the format year-month-day (aaaammjj) and it's
necessary to put the same date that your opponent, therefore be agree; -)
For the other, it's necessary also that the 2 players put the same informations (your castle, that of the opponent, the map),
and also the nickname of your opponent.
When your opponent validates the game, this one will appear in the list of the games, if not the game will be in irregular situation.
If you make an error, contact a person in charge of league.
Thank you to take care to avoid as much as possible the errors of defer.
10.
Irregular situations ?
No panic ! If your game is in irregular situation,
that means that the loser didn't defer his game.
If it's you, validate it: -) If it's not you,
wait for 1 or 2 weeks and if the game is still not validated,
contact us and explain to us the situation. .
Avoid playing against an opponent which didn't defer its game or then ask him to validate his game
before playing. If a player doesn't validate his games, he could be eliminated from the league.

Animations ? Tournaments ? Topics ? What is it ? How
to take part ?
Sometimes, special animations are organized (tournaments, topics and others…).
You will receive some bonus points to reward you to have taken part. To take part in a tournament,
you will have to be registered on the forum.
To take part to the topics, it's enough to be registered in league and to send an email to me to give
me the results (darkcatt@archangelcastle.com) . For other animations, look regulary on the forum.

How does the classification function ?
Calculation of points :
Pn = new points / Pa = old points / D = difference between the two players (can be negative !!)
For the winner :
Pn = Pa + 30 * ( 1 + D/600 )
For the loser :
Pn = Pa - 20 * ( 1 + D/600 )
2 players having the same number of points would receive +30 and -20 points
Your games, victories and defeats as well as the bonus points will appear in the classification.
Each player will also have an icon which will indicate his rank, this one will be dependent on his points
and on his favourite castle, below 1000 points, the players will be classified "paysan", of 1000 to 1199,
they will have a rank equivalent to a creature level 1 of their favourite castle, of 1200 to 1399,
they will have a rank equivalent to a creature level 2 of their favourite castle, etc… up to 1600 .
13.
What the bonus points ?
The bonus points are points which are added to your score, but which is not taken into account for
the calculation of the scores after a game. You will never lose these points.
These points are allotted only during an animation (see 11) in order to reward you to have taken part to it. The other
points are taken into account in your score in order to determine your classification and your rank.

How to take an active part in the life of the league ?
You have an idea and want to divide it with the community? Don't hesitate to contact us by email,
or to write it on the forum. Many decisions are made on the forum, or many ideas are launched.
If you don't go on the forum, it may be that you miss some important discussions and also explanations
on a decision taken by the webmasters.
