There are 2 steps:
Step 1 :
If you have basic Heroes 4or The Gathering Storm
Dowload
update_sfx + heroes4_sfx
If you have Wind Of Wars or patched version in 3.0
Dowload
heroes4_sfx
- Update_sfx.
- Heroes4_sfx.exe,
The files update_sfx et heroes4_sfx contain each one a file to be put in
a precise place where Heroes 4 is installed.
- The file update_sfx contain the file update.h4r which it's necessary to put in the fileData .
Here :
C:\Program Files\3DO\Heroes of Might and Magic IV\data
For that, click 2 times on update_sfx . A window of extraction of file appears,
show the way of extraction (install to: ) and to validate on ok.
- - the file heroes4_sfx contains the file heroes4.exe which it's necessary to put in the file
Heroes of Might and Magic IV
(C:\Program Files\3DO\Heroes of Might and Magic IV).
To carry out the same procedure as for the file update_sfx.
Once that made, you can go at the 2nd step.
Step 2 :
2/ To download the patch (install_equilibris_v3.51.exe)
- Equilibris 3.51.exe,
To click 2 times on the program to launch the installation.
It asks you to choose the language, then to choose the properties which you want to install
((useless version tournament), ),
and finally the destination
C:\Program Files\3DO\Heroes of Might and Magic IV
To click on installing… and it's good !!
