I would like to see an easy way to delete a saved game file from the saved games list. (If there is one already I don't know how to do it. Maybe you could tell me!? ) I love the whole series. Thank you. |

I just wanted to say that I like many of the ideas I've seen here for new castles. I think most agree with me when I say that Heroes IV needs a lot of castles (about 15-25). I would like to see everyone send in their own idea for a castle. Include creatures, special structures, and some hero info. I think we can probably come up with even better ideas that the guys at 3DO (sorry 3DO!). I'll post my own idea in a couple of days. Also. Everyone try to think of some good third upgrades for all the existing creatures. I liked the Blood Titan idea I've seen here. And then there is my own idea, Fallen Angel (upgrade of Archangel). |

i couldnt send an email to your "give us your suggestions" email adress so i'm sending it to this email. here is MY suggestion: Higher level creatures (Devils, Magi, Monks) should be able to cast spells, power based on the amount of creatures in the stack. (for example, devils can cast a weak armageddon, Magi can makea blinding flash come out of their staves, angels can cast holy bolt on an undead creature...) Thanx for reading my email! |

First
of all i must strongly suggest that anyone who is like me and loves
strategy, should search through thier favorite AbandonWare sites for
a wonderfull gem called "Masters of Magic" by MicroProse.
It has everything heroes needs. 1) when a stack battles another have it occupy the same space and continue to attack each other until told to do otherwise 2) water on the top and bottom level which occupy the same place in the map should allow special boats(magical submarines) to float to the bottom or surface to the top level, also some sea based creatures would sure boost that stupid computers life of sailing up.(the laughs never stop at my house watching a cpu getting on a boat, sailing in a circle and landing just to do it all over agian) 3) undersea and floating cities 4) heroes with all stacks that have flying should have flying 5) have many spells which give an ability to a creature(vampiric touch, fly, regening, etc) 6)spell to create zombies from a fallen stack of living humunoids 7)same as above but for dragons, and another for getting dread knigths from centaurs/cavaliers 8)abilty too group 2 heroes together(possibly you and your ally) one could specialize in magic and the other might maybe? 9)have unique creatures which are tough as an army(a 5 headed dragon, a mountain sized elemental, etc) possibly have a structure then when is built produces that one creature once 10)tunneling ability for certain creatures that only works in certain terrains 11)flying ships 12)a dual path for each creature race, so you choose which upgrade to take, maybe a better fighting upgrade or an upograde that grants some ability. for example the elves can be upgraded to either elven magicans which cast lightning bolts or into grand elves with dual bow attacks 13)maybe getting rid of creature upgrades alltogether and allow them to have levels as a hero does, but they have to fight thier way there(btw that would double the types of creatures alone) 14)walls for the editor 15)sewer tunnels for the editor 16)have week of the plague actually just infect random stacks and they spread to others in the vicinity 17)monsters that roam(possibly attacking town) 18)relations with other nations 19)ability to communicate with thinking creatures-possibly talking them into joining, warning of an evil army(yours) so they might go attack them, scaring them away, or just ignoring them and leaving there altogether 20)when retreating dont go to tavern automatically(just randomly move a few hexes possibly into a greater threat) 21)a
third level of air with a city and additonal flying creatures and flying
boats |

First of all, I really want to thank you for the great site you own... I am a french student, lover of heroes 3 and I heard of heroes 4, and the suggestions witch have to be submitted in English... I really would appreciate the possibility to edit one's own campaign in multiplayer mode. Another thing would be to allow the players to choose their alliance themselves, no matter the map ; that is to say when playing a map, being able to tell in the menu whom he wants to be with... Thank you very much. |
Sorry,
I missed this one in February. Hope Steve'll forgive me !

I've restarted playin HOMM last week, and I just found out there is an expansion pack. However here is what I would like to see in the next installement. A bigger battlefield, gives us the possibility to make a better strategy during battles. Make bigger maps with the same amount of "stuff" in it. I feel that there is so much stuff bunched together that I'm not sure what is what. Maybe it's just me :-) The possibility to teleport now it as to be balanced otherwise it would not make any sense but teleport heroes from one town to the other. Your call, I know it's a little bit tricky. More exploration and interactivity during the exploration; instead of just getting the upgrade at the Hut maybe we could get in the hunt and negociate the upgrade, or fight a mini battle or a test of agility in order to get it. As things stands right now if I can walk there 90% chance I'll get it. A little bit boring :-) But I'm still playing. How about a multi map game, 5 or 6 of the normal maps connected together to create a world?? This is about it for now, keep up the good work because it is very god work. BelGarion |
