Whazzup!!

Guess what Iv'e come up with, You should be able to import portraits, and heroes should look like their portraits, not just have the same look for all the Knights and the same look for all the Necromancers.

Also, a castle editor is a must, you choose the background, the buildings (also their names and prices), units (also their names and prices), even heroes(yup!! names, look, spells, abilities and portraits). Oh and you should be able to go inside buildings, e.g: go into a library and you will see the interior and be able to interact with things and people in it.

And also make wandering monsters actually wander around the map and attack castles.

Thats all I wanted to say.

Hello! I'm a faithful Heroes III player from Sweden, that's why my english sucks. I havent played any of the other outcomes so much, (I didn't like them as much as teh hommam3. Some things I would like to see in the new game if there ever will be one is:

1.) I would like it to be real time based, Some houers has past waiting on the computers and friends...

2.) I would like to som new monsters ofcause and it would be cool if some of them were more active on the night and the other way around.. Some new heroes and artifacts are needed, I've played homam for so long now so I know every heroes startingskills and not to talk about all maps, allthoug I've downloaded hundreds of new maps I know them all and were to find the artifacts and what they give.

3.) Then I've thought aboute som 3D. It would be cool if some parts were in 3D, the battles for example.

well this is aboute what i can come up whit right now, the game is allready perfect except for the fact that I know all the maps, heroes, artifacts, monsters (I even know their health whitout looking first)...

I want to thank 3DO for the game and I hope the fourth eddition comes out in Sweden soon.

While playing MM8, I became fascinated with the idea of fighting Regnan pirates. This was someting that it was incredibly good. I thought also about the sharks on MM7 was a good idea since you were exploring all nature sources: earth, wind, fire and water. Now, I thought hard to write this before I even send this. Could it be possibly that HOMM 4 have an island (or several for that matter) where the player can either fight or hire pirates? Wha tabout having a few pirate ships cruising on the ocean, searching for heroes and pillage their ships? Or how about Regnan Pirates having heroes also? What if you add Buccaneer, Pirate, Thug, Captain and Admiral as the army for the pirates along with (get a load of this one) SHARKS!!!

Before you laugh of my idea put it in your imagination and think of the odds for each and every hero defying the pirate's maritime laws and fihgt for the righteousness or for the glory of being the consumant lord of the world of Jadame (how about Erathia?) Please consider this idea if not for this platform then for the release of HOMM 5, if you have one. Also, consider letting the players fight in oceanic battle sagainst any foe on your next MM9. Instead of taking the boat to another place and automatically load the destination, consider allowing the player to explore the seas, get attacked by either Regnan or other enemies and taking matters on his own hands. That would be interesting.

I would like to see massive changes to the Hypnotise spell.
When I look at Hypnotise and its effects, it enables you to take control of an enemy unit if its HP are less than 25x power of the spell caster. This is awful because by the time the 3rd level mage guild is built, which is usually in the 2nd month, most army stacks will be immune to it because of high numbers.
So, here is my suggestion to improve the Hypnotise spell.

Hypnotise:
Takes control of an enemy unit if its HP is less than 50x spell power of the caster.

At Basic it is less than (Power x 50) + 40.
At Advanced it is less than (Power x 50) + 90.
At Expert it is less than (Power x 50) + 150.

What do you think?
I would like the Fireball spell to be more powerful as well, it is too weak for a level 3 spell (same as for Inferno's level 4).
Fireball should be Power x 20 in damage, not Power x 10.
Inferno should be Power x 30 in damage, not Power x 10. (might be powerful enough to be a level 5 spell with this).

Hello! I'm Wesley from the Netherlands again!
I wanted to apologize to you guy's for posting that letter ;o( Because I only wanted to try if my email worked, the letter was far from ready! I saw you posted it in your site ;o) But You can delete it if you want, Because this is my final letter.

1 Day And Night!
I hope 3DO will put in the ability of Day and Night. The map becomes dark at night and becomes bright again when day breaks on. The creatures who like dark more then light are quicker at night on Walk screen and in a fight screen. The creatures who are more active at daytime are more quicker at daytime. Some like peasants and crusaders don't even fight at nighttimes but sleep. At daytime Vampires and Bats can't fight. Some creatures that only fight at night: Moon Dragon, Many undead creatures, Dark Dwarf/Elf/Goblins, Night elves and that kind of stuff. Some Creatures that only Fight at day: Crusadar,Peasant,Mermaid,Dwarf and all those human(mortal) kind of units. Some creatures even change when come in different daytimes, Like Werewolves and Winged wolfman are weak Peasants and Winged Warriors by day and change into strong evil Wolfmans in night.

2:Monsters on Map Should Move and Follow you!
Like The monsters only stand still! That’s boring! They must at least move. When they move they will follow and attack your hero. When a monster attack you from behind the monster may start in the Fight screen. When you attack a monster from behind you may start the fight in the fight screen. When you attacking a monster when looking him in his face, the strongest may start the fight! Only boss kind of monsters can't move, Like mechanic dragons and azure dragons and other hard monsters that are a quest to kill!.

3: Upgrades.
Upgrades must be all different . Like Magic elemental (only one) Fire Elemental-Magma Elemental (two upgrades) Sand Elemental-Earth Elemental-Stone Elemental (Three Upgrades) Phoenix-Articuno-Ice Queen-Phoenix Queen (Four Upgrades) And in another town this. Goblin-Orc Ogre-Cave Man-Swamp Giant Mammoth Velociraptor-Ceratosaur-Allosaur-Tyrannosaur In every town must be 10 kind of creatures with their upgrades

4:Upgrades 2
The Units who upgrades in HOMM3 are to familiar to there level 1 creatures! Like Stone Gargoyle becomes Obsidian Gargoyle, That's boring the upgrades units must look totally different then there level 1 creatures like this: Imp(Little Devil) becomes Familiar (Little Houseghost) becomes Magog (Devil with fire throwing ability’s) becomes Cruxog(Black magog with on one hand Fire and other hand Ice) The upgrades look totally different than the first start creatures.

5:Spells
Every monster must have his own Speciality and many monsters have their own spell. Medusa can turn to stone, Morgana can make some fatamorganas to lure enemies away from their places and morganas team mates, Evil Wish can put an evil spell on his enemies and genie can put a good spell on her team-mates. Some monsters like Ghouls can Eat the death bodies from the killed enemies and Friends. Other like the many headed Scylla, hydra and tiamat can harm more enemies at the same time, other who don't have many heads but have special abilities like Banshee, Charibdis and Ice Ball can harm also many characters on the same time only they use special abilities. Shape shifting: Many monsters can shape shift into other animals or can summon them, good example are the druids they can summon a raven/plant/black panther/polar bear but can also transform into one. Others who can transform are: Selkie-Seal,Doppelganger-In every monster who is close to him, Kobold-Into weak enemies, Wolf enchanter-Wolf .

Some notes: Some Monsters have another name (name) behind their own names. That (names) are the enemies of that unit, the monster before this (name) does many damage to this (name) creature. Like White Wale(kraken) the white wale does many damage to the Kraken, but the kraken does also many damage to the White Wale(moby dick). Some have more names then mentioned. I only mention the gold Fox ''Ninetales'' but others like the shokan are also known as 4 armed giants (people who know mortal combat know who I mean, only this shokans are made from stone. and Sleipnir is also know as 8 Legged horse same for nightmare this is an black Pegasus with fire everywhere,Selkies are beautiful sorceress that can turn into a Seal.
I almost have every monster known on this list, if you know some more I haven’t mention please let me know.

Hello I'm Wesley and I am from the Netherlands, so my English isn't the best!

I have Several ideas for the game like:

1: A day and night section, Some units are only active with night (Moon Dragon) and some only at day (Sun Dragon), And some creatures may be more aggressive at night than during daytime, like (Wolfman, Vampires, Giant bats, and Gargoyles) Other like the Crusader and the Mermaid are more active during day.

2: I like to see the Monsters on the map moving! Because its to easy to avoid some of the harder monsters, They must attack you or follow you till they get tired, If a monster attacks you from behind he may start the fight and if you attack a monster from behind you may start the fight, If you attack him when looking into the face, the strongest then may begin.

3: Sorry to say this, but I don't like the heroes that are in HOMM! They are all boring! I like to see Lord Haart and Catherine and the other famous heroes from armageddons blade! But the others must be eliminated! Give them heroes like: Hercules, Charon, Pan, Cupid, Hades, Echidna, Typhon, Xena and that kind of heroes!

4: Also the heroes must join a fight! They can summon (Echidna) and attack (Hercules) the other enemy heroes and creatures, and they can die like other creatures, but they are very powerfull and have many spells!

5: There must be different kinds of upgrades, like this:
level 1 fishman-scropion
level 2 manta
level 3 shiguuer-magi-creiteos
level 4 medusa-medummy-Gorgon-Gorgon queen(Grail Upgrade)

6: Also there must be monsters till level 10, so 10 monsters in every castle.

7: There must be many new spells like: Shrink, Size Change, Frost Nova and Fairy Dust.

8: The Units who upgrades in HOMM3 are to familiar to there level 1 creatures! Like Stone Gargoyle becomes Obsidian Gargoyle, That's boring the upgrades units must look totally different then there level 1 creatures like this: 1 Kraken Upgrades to Sea Witch Upgrades to Sea Dragon.
Kraken=Giant octopus monster, Sea witch= A witch with the body of an Octopus (So like the one in the little mermaid!) Sea Dragon= A giant dragon in the sea (The one that is eating Hercules and the girl in the series ;o)

9 The monsters must have spells like the fairy dragons has! Almost every monster must have an special skill!

Hello! Here the Family's monsters, Some have 1 some 2 some 3 and some 4 characters, the upgrades look totally different than the others. The names behind the units like white wale (KRAKEN) are the enemies of that unit. So the white wale will do many damage to that unit, just like the archangel does to the devil. If an unit has 3 upgrades the 4th is very strong! There aren't normal units like normal skeletons normal troglodytes and normal minotaurs anymore, the minotaur and nagas I mentioned are the second versions of HOMM3 + Armageddon's blade, so the nage queens and minotaur kings and so on!. All seconds units from HOMM3 are in it, only the marksman aren't there anymore, they become eagle eyes. And the Brown centaur is also instead of the white one, the white ones become Winged centaurs.

I don't like names like arch devil and power lich so I just called them lich and devil.

Pegasus doesn't have an female elf on his back. Dark elves are females now.

Units for several kinds of towns.

The neutralls start from TROJAN HORSE.

A whole new dimension: Make room for global spells at Master of Magic.

Each town can build a magic house, in that house you can cast a spell (spells available depends on town) that effects all your and/or opponents troops, or the world in whole.

The spell will take some time to acomplish, and will be interupted if the town is conqured.
