Hi I'd like to see more strategy in battles. Bigger battlefields and such. Something like that.
Go into more detail too. Don't have a generic hero icon for heroes on the map. Maybe change their clothes and hair colours to match their portraits.
ALSO: One thing that would be great is when you're in a town, you should be able to SEE the population. Have people or creatures walking around the streets doing their own little thing. When you build more buildings, more people are seen. It's a small thing that would make the game so COOL!

What i want to see in Heroes 4 A thing I very like in heroes 2 was the terrain desert with the sphinx, I hope you will put this in the 4 because it's was very nice.

Hello !

I'm french, so excuse my bad english :)
Well, I will try to be fast and to not repeat what others have already said (Sea town, several levels...)
Me, what I wish for heroes4 is gods ! To avoid spoilers, They would be limited to one of each per map. So, they would be VERY powerful... Because even the azure dragon don't stand a chance against a end of game hero... Some ideas of what we could have...

-God of justice (good): A:40 Dam: 70-80 speed:14 D:80 hea: 4000 walker Retaliate each attacks When a creature deals him damages, she takes exactly the same amount of damages( Yes,even the archers :)

-God of hate (evil): A:90 Dam:100 speed:7 D:30 hea:6000 walker Hated by the good creatures As long as he is alive (on the entire map ? Argh!), Evil creatures hate good creatures.

-doppelganger (neutral): A:60 Dam:60 speed:19 D:60 hea:4000 flyer No retaliate All friendly creatures gain no retaliate too can cast clone (even on him and several times even if he is already cloned) Of course, a cloned doppelganger can't cast clone ! :)

-Gardien of life (good): A:40 Dam:70-90 speed:18 D:80 hea:2000 walker Regenerate all friendly creatures at the beginning of each turns Rise from the dead once per combat (like phoenixes)

-The Death (big bad boss): A:95 Dam:120-140 speed:4 D:75 hea:5000 flyer At the beginnig of each rounds, the 10 first creatures of each stacks die (other gods can't die this way...) Impossible to cast resurrect

-The War (neutral): A:60 Dam:200 ! speed:14 D:45 hea:3000 walker Strikes 4 times ! (Argh) +3 moral to all friends When he finished his move, he summons 200 crusaders near him (once per turn)

-The Pestilence (Evil): A:60 Dam:80-100 speed:18 D:60 hea:4000 walker No retaliate Permanent slow and curse for ennemies Each attacks of allies decrease the defense of the targeted ennemy by 3(rust dragon)

-The famine (Evil): A:60 Dam:70-90 speed:21 D:60 hea:6000 flyer The artefacts of the ennemy hero don't work any more ! (only for the battle) Ennemy shooters can't shoot All ennemies get -20% health If the famine is with you, every days, your ennemies lose 5000 gold

-Master of illusions (good): A:80 Dam:80 speed:14 D:50 hea:4000 walker shooter (infinite ammo) No melee penalty Ennemy hero don't have any spells points ! At the beginning of each turn, he casts an expert permanent spell (not random but like the IA) Of course, he knows all the spells ! :)

-The guardian of nature (good): A:45 Dam:60 speed:7 D:(200)) hea:10000 walker Each time he loses 100 hp, he loses 1 defense So, he is less and less hard to kill he binds ennemies in place (like dendroïds) Every friends or ennemies dendroïds get +4 speed

-God of destruction (evil): A:60 Dam:50-60 speed:15 D:70 hea:5000 walker shooter (10 shoots) Liches special Hydras special No melee penalty 2 retaliates... (une sale bête,quoi)

-Godesss of discord (evil): A:60 Dam:80-120 speed:18 D:60 hea:3000 flyer She can skip her turn by casting basic berserk When she deals damages to a creature, all creatures of the same side take the same amount of damages. To sum-up, if she blasts yours peasants, it become boring for your azures dragons... :D

-God of equilibrium (good): A:80 Dam:40-70 speed:14 D:80 hea:Special flyer No moral bonus-No chance bonus for both sides hates vampires Same health than the total amount of HP of each creatures of the ennemy hero at the beginning of the combat...

-Greater doppelganger (sale bête): A:+20 Dam:+10 Speed:18 D:+20 hea:Special flyer,walker shooter ? At the beginning of the combat, he takes possession of your most powerful stack. He keeps all the stats and specials of these creatures, but he adds his own stats. So, if you understand, anyway, in the better case, you lose your best stack... :)

-Victory (good): A:90 Dam:100-110 speed:20 D:75 hea:4000 horse riding Jousting bonus of 20% No heroes can flee or surrender Plays 2 times (not the same than the double strike), In fact, it's as if he always have a good morale... Voila... Of course, gods must have immunity against direct dammages like implosion (otherwise it's not funny :)

Another idea: I have imagined some special flaggable dwellings, who give some advantages like +1+1 to all heroes of this color. Yes, it's powerful but not a spoiler...Because you must ask yourself some questions like "How the hell would I keep control of this dwelling ?"
-If I guard it with my main hero, then, I stay here and I go nowhere else...
-If it's my secondary hero, who normally stays in castle, then my castle is no longer guarded, uh ?
-If I don't guard it, or with a weak hero, then the dwelling will not remain to me very long...Hehehe Voila...That's all...Of course, like every other players, I want more towns, more creatures, more spells, more artefact...In fact, more of all ! :)

What i'd like to see in Heroes 4 would be:

_ that shooters have a limited range, with all the details that includes: artirfacts, spells and skills to boost (or reduce) these ranges.

_ that during combats, whenever one of our units can play, a small window opens to give us different possibilities, like making a shooter to move and do some hand to hand fighting instead of shooting, charge the ennemy (more in attack and less in defense), walking instead of flying (with a small spell to hit all units that are trying to fly)...

_ that the game should be modifiable like quake-likes (ok i'm asking a bit too much here but imagine what this can give....).

I have played all of the games and enjoy them all. i am really happy with the random map editor in armageddons blade. My suggestion for heroes is keep the random editor, but give some more categories for it to randomize. i.e. number of castles, gold mines-high med low that type of thing.

Hi2all ! My name is Michel Chadov aka OmeN, I'm living in the Perm, Russia. I'm sorry for my english - it isn't I would like to have, but I hope you understand me. I like the Heroes sequel very very much and in the Perm I've organized some champs and won one of them. After many days & nights playing Heroes I ask myself : what 's absent in my favourite game ( IMHO )? And I put my wishes in the list below :

1. The first thing ( my old dream ) that I need very much is a new type of castle - Jungle. Creatures might there are Monkeys, Snakes, Parrots, Tigers, Lions, Elephants, etc. It's easy to create a background for this castle - enough to take a Africa jungle photo, and to select a specific terrain - forest, swamp or jungle.

2. Some common remarks :
- make more balansed existings magic spells and add a lot of new. For example, spell Hypnotize is useless even with spellpower=99. That's why I never used it. And Berserk with Expert Fire Magic can win a great battle!
- divide artifacts for hero and his horse and add artifacts for horse. And maybe give ability to upgrade horse for more quickly( running longer ) and strenght (can carry more artifacts)
- give ability to upgrade boat ,for example, to galley and galley to frigate.
- upgrade creatures more then once.
- give ability to record battle-demos and demos of the all game. At this moment we have ability to repeat last computer's turn, but gamers need more. Gamers need, especially during any champs, to record their games for themselves and their friends.

3. Remarks about Heroes III :
- make more castles balance. Fortress doesn't effectively on any map. And make Phoenix population 3 instead 4 in Conflux or this castle gives a very big advantage.
- AI ! Why computer so stupid ? Why he doesn't uses effectivnesses spells? Why he waits for something near mines with great armies? When playing in allies with computer why he develops so slowly? But if he's playng against me he's crushing all monsters.

I'd really like it if they added a LOT of creatures in HOMM4. You should only add creatures from real mythology and not some 100% invented crappy beastiary. If you search a little more, there's probably a lot of new creatures to come up with like the werewolf or the mermaids. Speaking of mermaids, a water castle would be nice. I don't really how it would work exactly but that's not really my job is it? You should also take away all the "neutral" creatures and put them inside castles, let's face it: they're useless. You should also do something about the secondary skills: there's just plain too much and you can only learn eight per hero which sucks.
